Privacy Policy

Rapido Labels (“we”, “us”) prints custom labels in Kitchener, Ontario and sells them through rapidolabel.com. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial laws. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Who is responsible

What we collect and why

• Orders: name, billing and shipping address, email, phone (optional), your label specifications, artwork files and proof approvals, and order history. We use this to price, proof, print, ship and support your order, and to keep business and tax records.
• Payments: card payments are entered on the secure payment page of our processor (Authorize.net, a Visa company). We never see or store your full card number; we receive only a transaction reference, the card type and last four digits.
• Your account: if you create one, your login details, addresses and past orders, so you can track and reorder.
• Messages: what you send us through the contact form or by email, so we can reply.
• Reviews: if you review an order, your rating, comments and the display name you choose. Reviews are published only after we check them and never show your email.
• Website usage: see “Analytics and cookies” below.

We collect only what we need for these purposes, and we do not sell or rent personal information.

Consent

By placing an order or contacting us, you consent to our using your information for the purposes above. Where the law requires express consent (for example, marketing emails or analytics cookies) we ask for it separately, and you can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, unsubscribing, or changing your cookie choice. Withdrawing consent may limit what we can do (for example, we cannot ship without an address).

Saved carts and cart reminders

When you enter your email address at checkout we save it together with the contents of your cart (including your label specifications and artwork reference) so you can finish your order later. If you do not complete the order we may send you up to two reminder emails about that cart. Every reminder has an unsubscribe link, and you can tick “Don’t email me about this cart” under the email field to opt out before any reminder is sent. Saved carts are deleted after 90 days (carts that led to an order are kept without personal details for sales reporting).

Analytics and cookies

We count visits to our website with our own cookie-free counter. For each visit we record the page address, the referring website and the type of page. To count unique visitors without cookies, we combine your IP address and browser identifier with a random value that changes every day and store only the resulting one-way code; your IP address itself is never stored, the code cannot be linked across days and it is deleted after two days. Only daily totals are kept. Staff and automated bots are not counted.

If you accept analytics cookies in our cookie banner, we also use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion measurement, which set cookies and send information about your visit and purchases (such as order number and value, but not your name or address) to Google LLC, which may process it outside Canada. If you decline, these tags run in a restricted, cookie-less mode. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the "rapido_consent" setting in your browser storage (or using the Cookie settings link in our footer).

Our store also uses essential cookies to keep your cart and login working, and WooCommerce records which website or campaign referred your order (order attribution) so we know which advertising works. Change your cookie choice.

Sign in with Google

If you choose "Continue with Google", Google shares your name, email address, whether that email is verified, and a unique Google account identifier with us. We use them only to sign you in and to create or link your customer account; we store the Google account identifier with your account so you can sign in again. We never receive your Google password, and we do not access your contacts, files or other Google data. You can stop using Google sign-in at any time from your Google Account settings (Security > Third-party connections); your Rapido Labels account and order history stay available with a password reset.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the store, and only what they need:

• our web host (stores the website, orders and files);
• Authorize.net (payment processing);
• shipping carriers such as UPS and Canada Post (name, address, phone for delivery);
• email delivery services (to send order, proof and shipping emails);
• Google (Analytics/Ads, only with your consent, and Google sign-in, only if you use it).

Some of these providers are located in, or store data in, the United States or other countries, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law. We require providers to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us. We may also disclose information where required by law.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax law requires (generally six years in Canada). Artwork and proof files are kept so we can reprint or reorder for you, unless you ask us to delete them. Abandoned carts are deleted after 90 days, contact messages after two years, and visitor counting codes after two days.

How we protect it

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), store artwork outside the public website, sign all download links, limit staff access, and keep software up to date. If a breach of security creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep. You can download or erase your data by contacting us at hello@rapidolabel.com; we reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

Our store is intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed; significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
