Pickle, kimchi and fermented food labels for jars

Pickles, kimchi and sauerkraut live in brine, move from fridge to counter and get handled with wet hands. A waterproof label on the jar's side and a round label on the lid keep the brand tidy through all of it.

Pickle label planning

Waterproof film

The label stock is waterproof BOPP, so condensation and drips do not turn it to mush.

Clean glass

Wipe jars dry and clean before applying; brine and residue prevent adhesion.

Jar shape

Straight-sided jars take a wrap label neatly; shoulders and curved necks do not.

Batch details

Print the fixed brand label; write batch and best-by by hand or with a separate stamp.

Our recommendation

Material and finish

Matte for homemade charm; gloss for bold colour in a fridge case.

Please note: Food labelling rules (for example bilingual English/French, net quantity, ingredient and allergen statements, nutrition facts) differ between Canada and the US and by product. We print the artwork you supply and do not review labels for regulatory compliance; check requirements with the CFIA (Canada), the FDA/USDA (US) or a qualified adviser.
