Essential oil labels for dropper bottles and roll-ons

Essential oil bottles are tiny and oily. Labels are narrow, text is small and drips are inevitable. A finished BOPP surface wipes clean, and careful sizing keeps the label flat on a small curve.

  • Best for: 5–30 mL dropper bottles, roll-ons, blends
  • Recommended stock: Matte or gloss white BOPP; clear
  • Typical shape: Narrow rectangle
  • Proof: Free digital proof

Small-bottle labelling

Tight curves

Measure the flat portion. A label that is too tall will wrinkle on the shoulder.

Oil contact

Essential oils can affect some adhesives and inks. Test your oil on a sample label first.

Warnings

Many oils need caution text. Allocate space for it early in the design.

Range design

Colour-code by family (citrus, floral, woody) on a shared layout.

Our recommendation

Material and finish

Matte finish on white is clean and legible. Gloss wipes easily. Clear stock on amber glass can be hard to read; use white stock for contrast.

Please note: Cosmetic and personal-care labelling (ingredient lists, bilingual requirements in Canada, claims, net quantity) is regulated and differs by country. We print the artwork you supply and do not review it for compliance, and we make no claims about product effects; check with Health Canada, the FDA or a qualified adviser.
