2 × 1.5 in labels
At 51 × 38 mm, this label is almost exactly the size of a matchbook, with 3 square inches to print on. We checked it against common containers: it works for a wrap around the 10 ml roller bottle (2.35 in round) as well as the top of an 8 oz candle tin lid. For copy, count on about 9 lines of roughly 30 characters at 8 pt. A full-size UPC-A barcode also fits. The same page covers 1.5 × 2: rotate the artwork and choose the unwind direction in the builder.

Good uses for the 2 × 1.5 in size
Wraps for 10 ml roller bottles
On a 10 ml roller bottle (about 0.75 in across) the 2 in side runs round the body with 0.35 in to spare where the ends meet.
Tops of 8 oz candle tin lids
The 2.9 in usable top takes it with a 0.45 in margin all round.
Main product label
9 lines of 30 characters at 8 pt carry product name, net quantity and maker on the 2 × 1.5 in face.
Candle warning labels
Under-candle safety text: 9 lines of 30 characters is plenty.
Artwork advice
Work on a 638 × 488 px file with a 1.875 × 1.375 in inner guide; below 7 pt, text blurs at arm's length. On the 10 ml roller bottle, leave the last 0.1 in of each end plain so the seam never cuts through words.
A 2.25 × 1.75 in flat panel is ideal; for wraps pick containers around 0.72 in diameter or bigger for the 2 in length.
2 × 1.5 in has 0% more space than 3 × 1 in; 4 × 0.75 in adds 0% more.

What size should my artwork be for 2 × 1.5 in labels?
2.125 × 1.625 in with bleed, which is 638 × 488 px at 300 dpi. Keep words 1/16″ inside the edge.
