3 × 2.5 in labels
At 76 × 64 mm, this label is a little smaller than a playing card, with 7.5 square inches to print on. We checked it against common containers: it works for the top of a deli container lid as well as a jewelry box lid (3.5 × 3.5 in). Expect about 16 lines of roughly 47 characters at 8 pt, and a full-size UPC-A barcode if you need one. The same page covers 2.5 × 3: rotate the artwork and choose the unwind direction in the builder.

Before you design
Set your canvas to 938 × 788 px, put a 2.875 × 2.375 in guide inside it, and nothing smaller than 8 pt. Leave at least 0.1 in between the cut line and any border you draw, or slight drift looks uneven.
Leave room: 3.25 × 2.75 in of flat surface is ideal. If you wrap it, containers near 1.03 in across (with the 3 in side going around) leave a small seam gap.
Against 3.75 × 2 in you gain 0% more face with 3 × 2.5 in, and going up to 4.5 × 1.75 in gives 5% more. The bigger 4.5 × 1.75 in runs about $2.81 extra for 1,000.
