If you already have business card artwork, it converts to a 3.5 by 2 inch sticker easily; just add 1/16 inch of bleed on every side.
Leave room: 3.75 × 2.25 in of flat surface is ideal. If you wrap it, containers near 1.19 in across (with the 3.5 in side going around) leave a small seam gap.
3.5 × 2 in gives you 2% more printable area than 2.75 × 2.5 in, while 7 × 1 in has 0% more again.
