4 × 4 in square labels
A 4 inch square is a statement label. It covers the face of square boxes and buckets, and it is often used as a bumper-style sticker for windows, crates and equipment where it has to be seen from a distance.

Print-ready tips
Large flat colour areas show every speck of dust on a curved surface; on 4 inch labels for tubs, choose a design with a white or patterned background rather than one solid dark colour.
For boxes and pouches allow 4.25 × 4.25 in of flat face. On cylinders the 4 in side wraps neatly once the diameter is at least 1.35 in.
4 × 4 in is 14% larger in area than 3.75 × 3.75 in, while 4.5 × 4.5 in is 27% bigger still. Per thousand, 4.5 × 4.5 in is roughly $28.99 dearer.
