1.5 × 1 in oval labels
A 1.5 by 1 inch oval is a small, elegant seal shape. Brands reach for it when a rectangle would feel too technical: on jewellery boxes, perfume caps and favour bags it reads as a crest or signature rather than a sticker. It is also a tidy way to put a maker's mark on handmade goods without covering the product.

Layout tip
Small ovals reward simplicity: one word or a monogram set in the widest part of the shape, with a thin inner border 1/16 inch inside the cut if you like a badge look.
Rule of thumb for this shape: allow 1.75 × 1.25 in of flat space, roughly 44 mm at the widest point.
Against 1.5 × 0.75 in oval you gain 33% more face with 1.5 × 1 in oval, and going up to 1.75 × 1 in oval gives 17% more.
