Glossy labels: vivid colour and easy wipe-down
A gloss finish gives labels a shiny, vivid surface. Colours look deep, photography looks sharp and the surface wipes clean, which is why gloss is a favourite for drinks, sauces, cleaners and anything sold from a fridge or an ice bucket.

Why choose gloss
Colour depth
Dark and saturated colours look richer under gloss.
Wipe-clean
Spills and fingerprints wipe off easily.
Water
Water beads on the surface and sheds.
Reflections
Gloss reflects shop lighting; avoid it for codes that must scan.
Our recommendation
When not to pick gloss
For barcodes and QR codes, matte avoids glare. For a natural or craft look, matte feels softer. If your brand uses delicate pastel colours, compare on the proof.
